Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Ventilate mobile app (“the App”), published by Vivace App Studio.

By installing or using Ventilate, you agree to these terms.

1. Publisher

2. Description of the service

Ventilate helps you ventilate your home during hot weather. It uses your home layout, window directions, indoor temperature, and local weather to advise you when to open, when to close, and how to place a fan.

3. Important disclaimer

Ventilate provides general advice based on weather models and information you provide. It does not replace professional advice (building, health, safety).

4. Use

The App works without an account. You are responsible for:

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, algorithms, and source code belong to Vivace App Studio or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction or modification is prohibited.

6. Subscriptions (Ventilate Pro)

Optional paid features may be offered as in-app subscriptions via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not process payments and do not receive your payment card or bank details. When you subscribe, the store charges your account according to its own terms.

RevenueCat helps us verify that your subscription is active and restore purchases across reinstalls. It receives an anonymous customer identifier from the App; it does not receive your payment information.

Subscription terms (including renewal and cancellation) are governed by the store you purchased through. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refund requests follow the store’s policies.

7. Availability

We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Weather and air-quality forecasts come from Open-Meteo and may be inaccurate or temporarily unavailable.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ventilate is provided “as is”. Vivace App Studio is not liable for indirect damages related to use of ventilation advice (thermal discomfort, property damage, etc.).

9. Personal data

See our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is available in the App and on this site.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of competent French courts.
